Pink Houses
I got the boys from Nena's. Stephanie and I had some time together and she did the taxes.

Subwoofer contact high
We got up today ready to go to Panama City and Stephanie's surgical procedure. She had a slight red spot from a band aid in the spot that was to be cut. We cancelled it and now have to wait 2 months for another appointment. Later on in the day we went to Andalusia and bought a second hand treadmill. We spent $140 on it and brought it home. It's affordable. Not a lot of bells and/or whistles. It will do for starters, and Stephanie is excited about it. We hung out downstairs and listened to some music. Magic by Olivia Newton John, Magic by America, Magic by Pilot, Magic by the Cars, and Strange Magic by ELO. Then Wild Fire Woman by the Cult and Run to the Hills by Iron Maiden.

Candle trumpet victim
OK, so this morning when I first got up I went ahead to the gym and ran 7 miles. My first time running that kind of distance. Important pointer:When on a treadmill, especially in a public setting, if you are rocking out on your personal stereo, (ie. iPod), do NOT start playing impromptu air guitar. There are many compelling reasons for following this rule. One, obviously, you look like a tool. Two: your Townshend impersonation may FEEL right, but in all possibility you could rip the headphones right off the iPod, sending both flying. Third (possibly a result of 2): you could lose your balance and take a dive, putting a halt (possibly long term) to your training regimen. FYI, I did resist the urge, barely, to play some air guitar when "God of Thunder" by Kiss came on. I discovered nothing today, but I REdiscovered the above mentioned, plus "Country Disappeared" by Wilco, and "Showbiz" by Muse. I'm currently watching the extended red flag coverage of the Daytona 500 and waiting for Stephanie to finish with her shower. It IS valentine's day, after all, and I would like to take her someplace nice.
Angel Frogs
So here it is Valentine's day, I've done laundry and dishes and I'm letting Stephanie sleep late. I wish I could go do my run while she sleeps but I can't because the gym isn't open until 10AM. So I sit here listening to Papa Roach and thinking about maybe checking out an episode of LOST. I browsed amongst my neighbors here in the Blogger.com community and I realize that I'm like, the only person who doesn't have 3 million pictures of my kids. Hey, I see my kids every day. You people get a life!!!
